I've always been a huge fan of minimalism. To this day, any handmade products (more particularly, metal) have been an eye catcher for me. Being a former machinist, i loved everything about J.L. Lawson's products. Their photography portrays the nitty gritty process of machining these. The shots show the products with metal chips in the shot and the old machinery in the backround. It's the honesty that sets these guys apart from your standard "Made in China" products. Granted, most people my think that you can just go to the store and buy a bottle opener. In my opinion, whats the point in that? Why not support the hardworking men and women that get their hands dirty to make such a simple and beautiful product. Check out the J.L.
