The Portland General Store carries a few different brushes used for shaving. Here are the descriptions of each brush, smallest to largest. Purchase them here.

Liberty Brush (Smallest) "Perfect for the traveling man, the LIBERTY is our smallest brush, but it’s pure luxury. Handmade in England with pure badger bristle—the finest for a wet shave—and a lathe-turned handle of faux ivory. The LIBERTY is named in honor of our favorite vintage tool shop, Liberty Tool, a historic building chock-full of tools in tiny Liberty, Maine (pop. 903). PGS brushes are perfect for use with our WHISKEY Old-Fashioned Wet Shave Soap or RACER Shave Cream. "

Old Port Brush (Medium) "The OLD PORT is our medium-sized brush version, ready for daily use. This luxurious brush is handmade in England with pure badger bristle and a lathe-turned handle of faux ivory. The OLD PORT is named in honor of the thriving seaport city of Portland, Maine that’s home to Portland General Store. PGS brushes are perfect for use with our WHISKEY Old-Fashioned Wet Shave Soap or RACER Shave Cream."

Percival Brush (Largest) "For the wet shave enthusiast who loves the feel of the finest, most lush brushes. The PERCIVAL is our most luxurious brush, handmade in England with the softest “super” badger bristle, and a lathe-turned handle of faux ivory. Our largest brush is named to honor Percival P. Baxter, a one- time governor of Maine who protected thousands of acres around the peak of Mount Katahdin, the highest mountain in Maine, in the early 1930s. PGS brushes are perfect for use with our WHISKEY Old-Fashioned Wet Shave Soap or RACER Shave Cream. "
