Stevenson Overall Co. 2013 Spring/Summer Lookbook

The Stevenson Overall Co. presents its 2013 lineup of spring/summer styles with a new lookbook shot in Japan. With the aim of producing quality apparel that can be worn casually or optionally at work, the collection consists of a variety of check and plaid shirts along with a selection of hoodies and reversible cadet jackets. Rounding out the looks are a few cuts of denim that focus on more streamlined tapered cuts and a few skull caps for those who like to (or are allowed to) rock headgear to work.

Those hoping to get their hands on some of the items can do so through the brand’s website or through Self Edge where the first delivery has already dropped, with the second one to follow on June 1.

GANT Rugger presents its lookbook for Fall/Winter 2013, offering a complete range of apparel for the upcoming season. The brand used a rustic kitchen as the background for its most recent line, which nicely compliments the fresh ingredients of the collection. Cable knit sweaters, light denim, and cropped woolen pants are prominently featured throughout the lookbook, which takes cues from preppy blue-blood aesthetics and reinterprets them for the modern-day. A year ago a good friend of ours decided to leave everything behind, to live a lonely life somewhere in the outback of south-east europe. His journey led him to an ostrich farm near the serbian border. Ever since he lives there raising ostriches.

He kindly invited us and early  this winter we decided to pay him a visit.

Once being there we took the chance to travel across nearby countries, getting to know their culture and people..

As it was in previous collections this experience of changing our environment and getting to know something new heavily influenced our next Autumn/Winter collection for 2012.

The way of life and the attitude of the people we meet is what we try to translate into our products. This time the “Carpathian Season” is the outcome of this process.

Natural Selection Denim 2012 Fall/Winter “MINIMALISM IN DENIM” Video Lookbook

Charles Darwin’s theory of Natural Selection wasn’t just the inspiration for the denim label of the same name, it was also the mantra. Evolve, or perish. Shot by London firm Hidden Agency, the contemporary British denim label recently released this video lookbook showcasing its Fall/Winter 2012 collection in various depictions of forward, evolutionary movement. Also evidenced by the video, simplicity reigns supreme in the classic jacket and pant silhouettes being offered in four distinct washes. Penfield Fall/Winter 2012 Lookbook

Penfield introduced their Fall/Winter 2012 lookbook 'Camp Wandawega', which was shot on location at the shores of Wandawega Lake in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. You can feel the brand's New England roots permeating the book, as the new collection was inspired by America's great outdoors, which showcases new styles like the Dyersville glacier jacket, and the Eska, a versatile down insulated shirt.The lookbook features their Black Bear, Classic, and Trailwear collections along with their newer 1975 collection. This season their autumnal color palette includes burgundy, burnt orange, and bright cobalt, in addition to more traditional muted tones of charcoal, navy, and black. Albam 2012 Fall / Winter Lookbook

British label Albam have just released the lookbook for its Fall/Winter 2012 lineup, the inaugural lookbook for the five year old label. Incorporating new influences, the lookbook showcases some very clean looks punctuated with hits of color courtesy of carefully designed indian block print scarves. Other pieces of note include the knitwear offerings crafted in Scotland and the outerwear and coats produced in London. Altogether a solid showing for the labels initial lookbook. Neighborhood Fall/Winter 2012 Lookbook

Japanese brand Neighborhood is back this season with a new website and along with that also presents for the first time an official digital collection lookbook for its Fall/Winter 2012 Collection. Highlighting stand out pieces from its new collection, a lookbook is always a great way of not only focussing on specific product, but more importantly the overall look and style of a brand and the way the brand imagines their clothing to be combined.
