MKI BLACK is the name of a new range of premium outerwear from MKI Miyuki-Zoku Store in Leeds. Founded by creative director Vik Tailor in 2010, the retailer is a hub for the conscious fashion consumer, with a focus on in-house, affordably-priced label MKI and a host of international names like COMME des GARCONS and Saint James. Despite its English location however, the origins of MKI Miyuki-Zoku Store are found in Miyuki-Zoku, a tribe of Japanese youth who were the first to adopt the Ivy Style look in 1964. This reverence for an appropriated classic aesthetic is also evident in MKI BLACK, a 5-piece capsule collection constructed with quality materials at reasonable prices. The collection consists of biker jackets, pea coats and varsity styles, each featuring premium cow nappa leather, 24oz melton wool, high grade metal work and solid craftsmanship. Designer-grade products at modest prices, MKI BLACK’s 2012 Fall/Winter pieces available now online.

In 1995, Fraser Moss and Jimmy Collins borrowed industrial designer Raymond Loewy’s slogan, ‘You must create’ as the name of their new clothing company . YMC, as it would come to be known, took initial inspiration from work wear, the football terraces of the early 80s and American & British military wear. Since 1995, YMC has evolved into a highly significant label. They are now among the most important in modern British clothing. YMC have come together with London Undercover to produce a set of two outstanding Navajo print umbrellas as part of their A/W 12 Collection. Each umbrella is made with a single piece of solid, dark brown Maple wood with combined shaft & handle. The Navajo External features two subtly different Navajo style prints on both the inside and out. The Navajo Internal is comprised of a deluxe Dark Navy poly cotton with the native-american inspired print on the inside. Each Umbrella includes a special collaborative wooden tag.

Victorinox Swiss Army introduces the ‘Alpnach’ Limited Edition 2012. This chronograph has it’s name from a helicopter-base of the Swiss army located at an altitude of 445 meters in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Taking on these details the watch is also limited to a quantity of 445 pieces. The design was inspired by a helicopter modell, the AS 532 Cougar. The new limited edition reunites all the most successful elements of it’s predecessors. The small-seconds indicator at 9 o’clock is directly inspired by the four-bladed rotor of the AS 532 Cougar military helicopter, and the chronograph’s zero-reset push-piece at 4 o’clock is reminiscent of the collective lever of the same aircraft.

The watch is of course Swiss Made with a case of 44 mm, stainless steel (316 L), black PVD treatment. It is scratch-resistant with a triple-coated anti-reflection sapphire crystal and water-resistant to 100 metres (10 ATM/330 feet). It features a screw-down open-worked case back in black PVD treatment with circular satin-brushing. The rotating bezel with tachometer scale has a countdown function ands all figures are coated with luminescent material.

The Alpnach Limited Edition 2012 will be in stores soon. You can check online atVictorinox for the closest retailer in your area.

The lifestyle magazine as well as online giant recently feature Anchor Division under the Style section. We made a great impression and continue to move forward in providing our own eye for style and fashion. They quote "Who doesn't want the little guy to succeed? When it comes to small businesses trying to make a difference in the world of style and fashion, Jamison Aweau of Anchor Division wants to give them a chance for success. Focusing on American-made start-ups, Aweau and crew try to shine the brightest of lights, using the best imagery and often creating his own photography scenarios, to make sure these brands aren't portrayed as "the little guy" anymore."

Thanks Complex. You guys are on point.
