In addition to its Desert Boot, SOPHNET. has also debuted a range of apparel for the Fall/Winter 2012 season. Featuring a range of predominantly mature pieces, the assortment takes shape with premium blazers, tailored denim and a segment of button-up shirts. As per usual SOPHNET. releases, each piece’s most notable elements are largely in the details as attention has been paid to chromatic buttons, supple elbow patchwork and hem detailing that characterizes the plethora of shirting options. Expect availability to arrive beginning July 28 through SOPHNET. stockists. Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Hailing from the American fashion designer’s 2012 fall/winter collection, this Thom Browne Varsity Jacket makes for an outstanding piece of outerwear. A throwback to college prep and varsity days, the piece uses light brown tweed in its body against contrasting white sleeves and front pocket accents. The silhouette is then artfully finished with a ribbed collar, cuff and waist trimmings in signature red, white and blue stripes. The casual jacket will soon be available here for ¥142,800 JPY (approximately $1,823 USD).

Fashion label Edwin presents its Fall/Winter 2012 line in a rugged series of highland location shots. Featuring winter essentials like cable knit sweaters, plaid shirts, zippered hoodies, thickly lined jackets and distressed denims, the collection represents an exquisite fusion of Americana spirit and Japanese sartorial elegance. Celebrating a wintry palette of faded tones, these looks inspire masculine freedom and weathered individuality. It may be time to grow that beard out for the season.

This season, Club Monaco marries smartly tailored pieces with a touch of casual ease to create the perfect transitional wardrobe. Each piece maintains a careful balance of structure and softness that can easily adapt to the various moods and swings of autumn weather. The focus remains heavy on color, texture andprints – with inspiration from Linda McCartney’s Life in Photographs, Sonia Delaunay’s masterful block prints and the leading men of the Silent Generation. This season’s menswear collection takes a cue from iconic, sophisticated artists—George Harrison, Gregory Peck, Hunter S. Thompson, to name a few— and revisits their timeless elegance. Our take on this impossibly cool style includes adding a soft edge to our favorite closet staples.  Classic blazers, cable-knit wools and lightweight tweeds in a sophisticated palette remain at the heart of the collection, but their cozy fabrics generate a casual vibe, perfect for dressing up or down.  Each piece is sensible, but is always made with a hint of warmth and whimsy.

Cohesive is a men’s ready-to-wear line that launched in 2004. Still young compared to its competitors but far ahead of them in design detail and quality. Each unit features a signature polka-dot taping making each piece standout on its own. The Polka Dot is a pattern adopted by Cohesive for it's unique representation of both unity and individuality.  Each dot is it's own shape, it's own entity that can stand alone, but in this particular formation, one can take a step back and see a methodical pattern and a group is revealed.  These dots represent populations of gentlemen, seemingly separate, but bound together by the commonality of the roles they play in their respective circles.  This common thread running between them, is their innate ability to lead, and their ability to stand out, they have a unique style that is somewhat eclectic while maintaining classic elements, balancing edgy and preppy.  The Cohesive Polka Dots are essentially a bird's-eye-view of a city, a country, a planet, a map, each dot signifying a Cohesive representative in a different place, at the center of a different social circle but all part of the same pattern, and all with a certain affinity for Cohesive Clothing.

Levi’s Vintage Clothing present another hardback version of their lookbook, one for the collector’s. We’d been told by the guys at LVC a while back that Fall/Winter would have a motorcycle theme, the images suggest they’ve taken the Rocker route for both men’s and womenswear – so, plenty of leather, decorated sleeveless denim jackets and jeans ready for the turn-up. That’s half the story. The collection also takes on the world of boxing, perhaps less the sport and more the culture around it. Flat caps, grandad shirts, fitted knitwear and the return of the shawl collar coat. Another top season from the experts at LVC, the lookbook is available here.
