Apolis partnered with Filson to use cotton that was grown, milled, woven, and dyed in Uganda in the making of our collaborative Philanthropist Briefcase. Each bag is carefully handcrafted at the Filson workshop in Seattle, Washington. The result is a bag that is softer and lighter than a regular Filson bag, perfect for an urban commute or carry on travel bag.
Inspired by a longtime mentor’s story of a community school and hospital located in the Honduran town of Siguatepeque, Los Angeles-based Apolis has teamed up with Handsome Coffee Roasters for the Honduras Coffee Project. Utilizing coffee beans from the local farm whose production and output supports the community institutions and drives down healthcare costs while also allowing greater access to education, the special co-op roast offers a clean, sweet finish with notes of chocolate taffy, graham and tangerine flavors. Meticulously roasted on a weekly basis, the Apolis x Handsome Coffee Roasters Honduras Coffee Project is now available online in a 16 oz. package for $25 USD.
