Bamford Watch Department announces their brand new customized Rolex Sky-Dweller – available in the signature Black MPVD coating with Bamford aqua and white accent colors on a black dial. The Sky-Dweller is one of the first complication watches to be reimagined by the creative forces of the Bamford Watch Department and features the ability to display the time in two time zones simultaneously, but can also tastefully display the date and month on the same dial. In addition, the new 9001 caliber movement is not only one of the most complex movements available, but also one of the most reliable. Simplicity, luxury, reliability, and geography-defying elegance – certainly everything a person could want in a watch. Due to the highly sought after nature of the piece, the Bamford Sky-Dweller will be available in an extremely exclusive run of 8 pieces for £43,500 GBP (approximately $69,700 USD).
Having shown his work at such historic institutions as the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles as well as collaborated with brands like FUCT, artist Wes Lang has recently collaborated with Bamford Watch Department for a series of Rolex Watches. Featuring a bi-color Rolex GMT-Master II, a Rolex Submariner, and a Rolex Milgauss, the highly-stylized timepieces feature Native American and skull imagery we’ve seen from the artist in the past engraved into the bands, dials and backs of the watches.
