Gant Rugger Fall / Winter 2013 Lookbook

GANT Rugger presents its lookbook for Fall/Winter 2013, offering a complete range of apparel for the upcoming season. The brand used a rustic kitchen as the background for its most recent line, which nicely compliments the fresh ingredients of the collection. Cable knit sweaters, light denim, and cropped woolen pants are prominently featured throughout the lookbook, which takes cues from preppy blue-blood aesthetics and reinterprets them for the modern-day. Of course, the importance of a casual shirt can never be understated, and as such GANT Rugger offers a spread of chambray, oxford, and seersucker tops to pair with its other gear.

GANT Rugger 2012 Holiday Collection

“Last Night/First Morning” is the new Holiday 2012 collection from GANT Rugger. Bringing a second helping of culinary-influenced menswear to the table, Christopher Bastin‘s seasonal offerings are tighter and more colorful than ever, drawing inspiration this time around from guests at a dinner party. The brand’s signature prep-inflected blazers, suiting, shirts and accessories all make a return this season, but with the addition of eveningwear and vibrant, festive hues like pink, magenta and pea green. Standouts include the slim-lapeled suit — cut close to the body and shaded in moss green — Fair Isle-patterned knit sweater and checkered dinner jacket, each given slim proportions and unusual hues. While Bastin’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection had much to do with the careful patience and quality of the slow food movement, Holiday 2012′s offerings exude all of the joy and excitement of hungry guests counting down the New Year. First things first, we take a look at this huge lookbook for Fall Winter 2012 from Gant Rugger. An excellent collection of smarter looks without any stuffiness or formality. Suits, slim but not skinny, in some great wool fabrics alongside camel overcoats, wintery knits and impressive accessories. A meeting of American classics and that Pitti Blazer-centric approach. Second order of business. Gant introduce the ‘Cook GANT Rugger‘ project. The beginnings of what will eventually become a cookbook, designer Christopher Bastin shares some of his favourite recipes and encourages us, the general public, to submit our own. As you may remember in our preview, Fall 2012 has apparently been hugely influenced by food, the New York downtown restaurant scene and a selection of chefs turned models.
