The prolific guys of Makr did the unthinkable, finishing a crave-worthy fieldbag firmly rejecting the usual synthetic look. This great field bed exhibits a shell made of 100% Italian organic slub selvage denim and Japanese chambray cotton in the inside insultaed with a thick layer of APEX climashield, which ultimately renders it to withstand down to 20°F. All this rolled up and tied down with leather straps and pulls made from the legendary Chromexcel hides bye Horween.
Edwin Jeans work with Berlin store Burg & Schild on their fifth anniversary ‘Black Collection.’ A limited run of 50, the brand lend their classic five pocket style this time constructed of 14oz Black/Black Red Listed Selvedge denim from Japan’s Kaihara mill. Plenty of interesting detail here. Black twill, printed and numbered pocket bags, hand painted black copper donut buttons designed to fade to their original colour over time, hidden back pocket rivets, hand embossed vegetable tanned leather patch and a sweet bonus by way of a handmade tote bag formed from recycled military ground sheets. Nezumi Denim Co. may be an infant of the denim world, but the man behind it, David Campo, is certainly not. Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, the premium micro-denim brand is the brainchild of the man behind Sleezy Teez, who has a good 10 years worth of fashion design and production under his belt; Campo’s list of contracted clients include the likes of H&M and Carlings. Starting off less than a year ago as nothing more than a project to make limited jeans, the project-turned-brand has now flourished into a full lineup and much praise from the public, with his N 0-2-50 model as the brand’s main attraction. The name ‘Nezumi’ translates from Japanese to ‘Rat,’ and is taken from the fabled hero, Nazumi Kozō – Japan’s own version of Locksley’s Robin Hood. With an aspiration to create quality handcrafted denim jeans, Nezumi Denim Co. continues to produce using high-grade materials and a veteran team. A small selection of goods made from their 230z denim “premium quality narrow loom selvage fabric” milled in Japan. Having seen their 101z jeans in this weight close-up I can tell you these mean business. Most definitely a winter months fabric, these thick, heavy jeans have a smooth look to the weave, a tight denim with a slight sheen and enough rigidity to head off down the shops on their own. Kith recently collaborated with bag company Herschel Supply Co. on an ultra-durable backpack. Built with selvage denim and a durable Cordura camo fabric, the classic pack features a chambray main interior compartment with a soft black fur elastic laptop sleeve. Additional details include an iPhone pocket with built-in headphone access, a bright red plastic key holder, padded mesh straps and heavy duty zippers. The Kith x Herschel Supply Co. Backpack will release this Friday at 11 a.m. EST with a price tag of $120 USD.

"hese Indigo Stantons are inky, solid and ready to become a part of your daily rotation. Some of my favorite details are the hidden pen pocket in the right rear pocket (mine always has one form of a writing utensil), canvas lining on the fly and the center rear slanted belt loop. This is another product from HAUSKRFT. We featured the all-white leather iPhone case in a past post. This was a truly unique mix of great materials and good color palettes. This specific one has a mix of tanned cow leather as 70% of the cases material that keeps it pretty rugged. The front side features genuine african elephant leather with the embossed logo that wraps around to the back side, and the middle / inner section is one of the exciting pieces of material. 14oz Italian Candiani khaki / red Selvedge Denim. All of the fabric is held together by nylon. These come in an array of different denims.
