Two classic American brands come together to create this smart take on the 4553 boot. The iconic Red Wing Heritage 6″ moc-toe cut is given some traditional Brooks Brothers styling with a hard-wearing panel of Halley Stevensons tartan plaid oilcloth. The collaboration coincides with a series of events running through October and November at Brooks Brothers locations throughout the United States and Canada. For the first time since the 1900s the Red Wing Heritage collection, in its entirety, will be available to purchase direct from Red Wing representatives waiting to answer any of those nagging boot questions you’ve been dying to ask. History of the Red Wing Boots: Iron Ranger No. 8111

After scrolling through on of my favorite blogs, REDWING1905, i noticed his shots were of the Red Wing Iron Ranger boots. I'm a big fan of the history of heritage products so i thought i would share. The Mesabi Iron Range lies in northern Minnesota, a rugged and remote area. The local residents are proudly known as Iron Rangers, individuals with a sense of adventure and a determined personality. The work boots worn into the iron mines had to be as tough as the demanding conditions. The Iron Ranger boots were built with a double layer of leather over the toe to provide the miners an extra measure of safety. The heel pocket, a boot feature designed to provide extra support, was moved to the outside of the boot. This design change eliminated a seam, and provided a smooth and comfortable one-piece surface on the inside of the boot. - RW

1973 CL360 Cafe Racer and Wolverine 1000 Mile Boots

I decided to do a shoot on my cafe racer and my new pair of Wolverine 1000 Mile Boots that Wolverine was nice enough to send me. The boots in a way symbolized an early era of riding while representing a classic feel just as the bike does. I'm looking foward to wearing them out while riding and showing them off. The beautiful smell of leather emits from these boots and each time i get a smell, its a great feeling of having quality products on my feet.
