Online watch magazine HODINKEE brought their vintage watch pop-up shop down to the Bay area over Memorial Day weekend. Kindly hosted by San Francisco’s Taylor Stitch, the watch team pulled off their inaugural West Coast pop-up store with much success. Among over 50 hand-selected vintage watch offerings, cult classics were present including a vintage IWC Ingenieur and Omega Bullhead chrono, an early Heuer Carrera Dato from 1967 with a rare black dial, and one of the rarest vintage Rolex watches around – the Ref 1530. Joined by some 200 patrons, 25 of these lovely timekeeping oldies found buyers — several mint Pepsi-GMT’s, a no-crown guard 5508 Submariner, the very first Rolex Oyster ever from the 1930s, and a beautiful Wittnauer chronograph. - Hypebeast
